Hot Fun in The Summertime: A Journal Writing Retreat

Summer is a relaxed time with longer days, enjoying fireflies at dusk, walking around in bare feet, sipping refeshing cool drinks and the art of story-telling. It is a time for a nostalgic looking back and intentional looking forward.

This in-person workshop will introduce the benefits of expressive writing and provide facilitated, short-timed journal prompts. We will write about summer memories and experiences and set intentions for Summer 2026.

Responses can be about your cancer journey, but they can be outside of that journey, too. No experience is required! Feedback from participants includes that they gain clarity and new information, feel possibility around creativity, self-care and small enjoyments they had not previously considered.

This event is hosted by the Cancer Support Community - Atlanta.

To register: https://cscatl.gnosishosting.net/Events/Calendar?eviid=20434

Journals and snacks will be provided. Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the program.
